Her SS 16 collection saw the launch of her ready to line called AnaMika. The collection consisted of stunning sexy and sharp pieces and reinterpretations of some of the most well known Indian classics such as a sari and a kurta. If sports luxe is a trend then Anamika has added a desi punch to it. With saris, kurtas in languid shapes, lowers, loose oversize tops Indian sport seemed to be a common thread running through all her creations.

The colour palate went from black to white to red with hints of turquoise. There was stunning use of chickenkari and patchwork though can add volume to an outfit in this collection’s case added a bit of character to the outfits.

Though the world might consider sports luxe to be a lesser trend but Anamika has proved in her collection that sports luxe is the new occasion wear.
