Calling Alexander McQueen just a fashion designer will be an understatement. McQueen was blessed with a visualistic sense of frame , he dared to travel to those uncharted corners of beauty which nobody knew.
Dark, devilish, gothic and dramatic were his catchwords. One of the most memorable shows that he put up was ‘ Highland Rape’ for first time the British fashion was bombarded with something out of every fashion forecasters league. He cut opened the beautiful clothes to stimulate a feeling of actual violence and depicted a century long British Rape of the Scottish Highlands.
