Samant Chaunhan understands grandeur and knows how to proportionally use it in his ready to wear collections. His latest collection was truly a treat for our eyes. Inspired by the Indo-Greek culture the theme of the show was Kinnaur Queen. Keeping the colour palate red and white Samant once again played with gold embroidery.

We loved his experiment with silhouettes. Be it those stunning capes, jackets or kaftans there was everything to like. Samant played with a number of fabrics such as organza, silk, cotton and satin however what intrigued us was the juxtaposition of light voluminous silhouettes with heavy embroidery.

It was not just the theatricality of the collection that enamoured us but also the multicultural hints that added character to his outfits.
