Burberry gives you enough reasons to appreciate heritage and it’s latest collection cemented the fact. If fashion today is all about treading a path between tradition and modernity then we guess Burberry knows the trick . Revisiting the classics and reinterpreting them Christopher Bailey’s latest presentation struck some interesting chords.
1. When it comes to incorporating heritage in fashion, no one does it better than Burberry. This army inspired collection proved the fact. We loved the reinterpretation of some of the classic army outfits such as the over coats and capes.
2. We loved the quirky take on jumpers and the usage of faux fur and satin in different hues. If there is any one who knows how to subtly introduce a new concept, it is Burberry.
3. We all love an oversized over coat coat, a duffle or a toggle in our wardrobe and there were a plenty in this collection. Our personal favourites were a black and white plain lined army coat with high collars and a fur lined parka.

4. Saddle bags for men? Yes we guess it is time to embrace this gorgeous shape and go with the flow. Burberry’s take in traditional saddle bags was interesting. What gave them character was their texture and colour. Be it in polished leather or suede they were everything!

5. If you have spent sometime in London and have travelled through out the city you will find men following a particular layering code which is a little relaxed and unruly. Something similar was emulated in the collection as well. We loved the juxtaposition of bright and against lighter shades, sneakers paired with trousers, high necks against overcoats with skinnies.
