For a designer who has played with black and white in the past, gold seems to be an unusual choice but we know, when it’s Rajesh Pratap Singh anything is possible and without any failures.

Over the years we have seen Rajesh Pratap achieving perfection with the metallic yarn and this collection comprised of some stunning pieces in the same. He collaborated with textile curator Rahul Jain and worked on some unusual fabrics (the translucent molten gold suit, was something that stood out for us).

Blending gold and metallics in several forms such as beaten floral motifs, patches on white jackets and shirt dresses, culottes with blazers the ensemble was replete with pieces that defined Rajesh’s essence.

Some of the pieces that stood out and spoke about his immaculate tailoring and tasteful colour palate were a boxy suit with chains streaming out of it (the opening piece), a trench coat with gold leggings, a white floor length shirt dress with gold floral path work.
