We speak to her about her brand and seek some tips for today’s modern brides.

1. What makes your bridal wear different than others?
Prathyusha -Our line is a contemporary take on traditional Indian wear. We try to create pieces that evoke effortless elegance in softer hues. What makes us different are our silhouettes, we are always trying to come up with new and different silhouettes, while trying to incorporate zardozi and gota patti . Like one shouldered dresses with dhoti pants or capes with lehenga’s etc.

2. Pro-tips for today’s modern day bride?
Prathyusha– A modern day bride should go for lighter and more structured silhouettes. She should let comfort and fit take precedence over eye blinding bling. Less definitely is more. Always let one element do the talking, either the outfit or jewellery.

3. One fashion risk that every modern day bride should take?
Prathyusha– For the wedding, brides still stay true to the traditions but it’s about time to experiment with the color palette. People are definitely moving away from reds and opting for lighter and fresher colours like blush pink and peach.
