It is surprising to see poetry manifest through fashion but it happened. Payal Pratap who has become synonymous to delicate and feminine silhouettes has over the years relentlessly created collections which define modern Indian women- easygoing, gorgeous and intelligent. At the recently concluded AIFW Payal yet again proved that keeping it simple does not mean it has to be bland. Inspired by Robert Frost’s ‘Asking for Roses’ Payal reinterpreted the era of 50’s through her creations. Strong silhouettes appealing to every women with gorgeous prints was the catch point. Designers signature cross stitch embroidery again made an appearance with digital and graphic print embroidery. The thoughtfully chosen colour palate sort of reflected an attitude strong hues such black with pastel yellows, whites with light blues gave the ensemble a wholesome look.
