They started with an idea to provide Delhiites with an authentic Mediterranean experience. So, it was not just about creating an eclectic menu but to bring in the coastal elements in decor too.

Inspiration: The main idea behind launching Chateau Countryside Cookhouse was giving people a real taste of the Mediterranean countryside. In today’s scenario, there are very few places providing that authenticity, and we at Chateau are trying to get that flavor out in the open. The ambiance and the recipes have taken hints from the French coastal region as well.
What’s on the menu: Apart from the usual Pastas & Pizzas we also serve authentic flatbreads. There is also a wide variety of Tapas on our menu. Shortly, we will upgrade our menu and add a further Mediterranean touch to it. We also plan to serve authentic rolls. So there will be a lot to look forward to for the patrons once they come to Chateau.
Recommendations for first timers: We recommend peri-peri flatbread, homemade pasta in the main course. As far as the deserts go, churros rolled in cinnamon sugar served with chocolate ganache, our gooey chocolate cake & the outright favorite, date & walnut cake with caramel syrup are worth a try.

Mediterranean Influence: Mediterranean belt is full of places that ooze a certain sense of calm, so we have tried to create a similar ambiance, it’s a very speakeasy kind of a place. The fact that the region is inspired by a number of cultures, we have tried to blend the aesthetics of the French countryside & the Mediterranean in our decor.
