What would you expect when Namrata Joshipura, a design doyenne known for her edgy and unapologetic glamorous creations collaborates with Maybelline? Needless to say high octane glamour and so was the scene at her A/W 16 show.

 

There was no unnecessary pondering…sexy clothes on even sexier women, that has been Namrata’s agenda for years. Supermodel Kanishtha Dhankar opened the show adorning a sequinned swim suit under a fringed cape, an extra punch was provided by the beats of ‘King Kunta’ by Kendrick Lamar.

 

What followed was a flurry of well fitted jumpsuits, dresses in floral prints, sheer gowns with floral appliqué work. What caught our eye was a coat dress made in sequinned feathered details, now thats how you glam it up.

 

To top it over, Bollywood siren Athiya Shetty closed the show in a black sequinned body suit, the bell sleeves provided a 70’s touch.
