Anavila has decoded simplicity. She has given easy dressing a new meaning. Those languid silhouttes, subdued colour palate, relaxed atmosphere all sort of come together to define Anavila’s aesthetic sense at her latest SS 16 show at the Amazon India Fashion Week.

Her recent collection at SS 16 was titled ‘The Secret Life of Forests’ and consisted of some stunning linen saris and over sized kurtas. The colour palate was interesting, the hues of ecru, cement and charcoal were balanced by hints of gold and silver, making the collection understated yet luxurious. We were in love with those hand embroidered surface details.

Another interesting aspect of the collection was a variety of blouses, from hand knitted linen ones to the elbow lengths and sleeveless, we were lusting over everything.
