I’ll call  Mr Manav Gangvani a wanderlust. He is an ascetic probing for something spectacular. With his each collection he moves a step closer to that pinnacle of magnificence. Manav Gangvani is not a new name in fashion.With a ultra exclusive fan club he leads a parade of elitist of the elite and designs specifically for them. Living up to his signature style, his latest show was not a shift from his usual level of grandeur but only a step ahead.

ROYAL AFFAIR as the title suggests was all about royalty wrapped in cutting edge technique which involved an extravagant use of Swarovski crystals, delicate beading and intricate embroidery. Indulging into a palate of shimmering black, red and ivory he created cocktails gowns, pre-drapped sarees, Anarkalis, shararas, puffed out lehngas and gararas which defined a new level of elegance.

The drapery, the lines and the structuring of dresses left audience in a fix compelling them to guess what the next creation would be like.

Awe-inspiring, neat, theatrical and daring are certain attributes which define Manav Gangvani and each time he unapologetically rubs shoulders with the superlatives of excellence.

He is a designer who will only get better with time. I want to see his creations after 5 yrs or 10 yrs from now, what would be the level of grandeur and opulence then??
