Her eclectic fashion sense is a confluence of the east and the west.

Where some of the biggest stars from around world shy away, Sonam Kapoor takes the lead. Be it conquering Cannes with her glorious custom-made gowns or launching her own label ‘Rheason’ with stylist sister Rhea, Sonam has done it all with perfection.

What sets her apart from a number of other Bollywood actresses is her candid attitude towards fashion. It would be apt to say, that she loves couture and couture loves her. Nobody tames drama on the red carpet better than her. Wearing Jhumkis with gowns, cropped jump suits or denim saris Sonam’s style graph has topped the charts a number of times.

Her eclectic fashion sense is a confluence of the east and the west. It’s not just ‘hasthphools’ adorned with customized Elie Saab gown that commands attention. Her ability to team a cropped shirt with a metallic sari, goofy shades with a cocktail dress and strapless bustier trail top with trousers also elaborate her experimental fashion repertoire.  This gajra and kanjeevaram loving actress can also be credited for introducing international labels such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Ralph and Russo, Ulyana Sergeenko and Roksanda Ilincic to Bollywood red carpets.

As Sonam turns 32 today, we look at her recent 10 looks which redefined grandeur on the red carpet.
